Black Choreographers Festival

Highlights: Emerging and mid-career choreographers bring traditional dance, ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop to the stage in honor of Black History Month.
Cost: $15; $10 for those younger than 12. Dance classes cost $10.

Napa Valley Marathon
When, where: March 1, Calistoga to Napa along the Silverado Trail
Highlights: A 26.2-mile run, the 5K Greater Kiwanis Club of Napa Fun Run, a sports and fitness expo (the day before) and a pasta dinner (the night before).
Cost: $125 fee for marathon, $30 for pasta dinner.

St. Patrick’s Day Hooley Party & Golf Tournament
