In an interview with Access Hollywood in 2005 Cruise criticized Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants to deal with post-partum depression and recommended women dealing with similar issues take vitamins instead. Tom should stick to saving the world from aliens and let women who are experiencing postpartum depression decide what treatment option are best for them, Shields told reporters in response.
