Christina Aguilera welcomes, names new baby girl with Matthew Rutler
Christina Aguilera is a new mom once again: She and fiance Matthew Rutler welcomed a baby girl on Saturday.
Now, has Xtina been spending just a little too much time in California’s drought conditions? Because the name they chose sounds like some serious wishful thinking.

FOR THE RECORD
Aug. 18, 11:59 a.m.: An earlier version of this post incorrectly said that Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman got engaged in February. Aguilera and Matthew Rutler are the two who got engaged.

“So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world,” the singer said late Sunday on Twitter.
Summer -- or is it Summer Rain? -- joins big brother Max Liron Bratman, whose dad is Xtina’s former husband, Jordan Bratman. Max, born in January 2008, is now a little more than 6 years old.
Word that it was going to be a baby girl came out in March, while the four-time coach of “The Voice” was performing in Malaysia. Aguilera and Rutler got engaged in February.
Most recently, the public has seen Aguilera in the now-classic naked-and-pregnant pose for V Magazine.
“As a woman, I’m proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store,” she told the magazine.
Might be a good time for fans to do as she does: The baby’s weight, length and other details of her birth were still unknown, her rep says. Stay fearless, folks.
