CLEVELAND — Sage Rosenfels passed for 275 yards and a touchdown, and Kris Brown kicked three field goals as the Houston Texans ended an eight-game losing streak outside Texas with a 16-6 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Rosenfels completed 24 of 32 passes and hooked up with Kevin Walter on a 17-yard scoring pass in the first quarter.
Andre Johnson had 10 catches for 116 yards as the Texans (4-7) also ended a three-game losing streak.
The Browns (4-7) suffered their third straight loss at home, and quarterback Brady Quinn was replaced in the second half after throwing two interceptions, the second coming inside Houston’s 10-yard line.
