NONCONFERENCE

Pepperdine (2-4) at Northern Arizona (3-2), 6:30 p.m. -- The Waves have won consecutive games and are averaging 90.3 points over the last three games, an increase of 20 points from their first three. Northern Arizona, the two-time defending Big Sky Conference champion, lost, 101-86, at Pepperdine last season.

San Diego State (5-1) at Loyola Marymount (2-4), 7 p.m. -- The Lions have won two of their last three, including a 97-92 victory over Mercer that was the most points they had scored since 1999. This is their first home game since Nov. 12. The Aztecs are looking for a 6-1 start for only the second time since moving to Division I in 1980.

Cal State Fullerton (3-0) at Arizona (3-2), 7:30 p.m. -- The Titans, playing for the first time in 11 days, got good news when injured forward Scott Cutley returned to practice over the weekend, but he is not expected to play. The Wildcats are led by Chase Budinger and Jerryd Bayless, who are averaging a combined 37 points.

Cal State Northridge (3-0) at Cleveland State (4-2), 4 p.m. -- The Matadors are third in the nation in scoring at 95 points a game with Jonathan Heard averaging 18.3 points and Calvin Chitwood averaging 13.7 points and 9.7 rebounds. J’Nathan Bullock averages 18.2 points for Cleveland State, which has won three in a row.

Hope International (0-4) at UC Riverside (1-4), 7 p.m. -- The Highlanders are coming off their first victory, but they are still averaging only 53.8 points. Larry Cunningham averages 15 points, the lone Riverside player in double figures. Marko Torovic averages 15 points and 7.5 rebounds for Hope International, an NAIA school.

NONCONFERENCE

UCLA (3-1) at Pepperdine (2-2), 7 p.m. -- The Bruins are coming off a 79-75 home loss Sunday to No. 3 Maryland, a game in which UCLA led by 16 points with 6 1/2 minutes remaining. Five players average in double figures for the Bruins, led by senior forward Lindsey Pluimer, who is averaging 15.8 points. Miranda Ayim, a 6-foot-3 sophomore forward for Pepperdine, had 17 points and 10 rebounds Friday in a 64-54 loss to visiting Texas-Arlington.
