Lions Gate in Deal With After Dark Films
Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. and After Dark Films have agreed to produce and distribute movies together for three years.
Lions Gate said it would release After Dark’s “An American Haunting” on DVD next month as part of the agreement.
After Dark, controlled by Allan Zeman, will provide some films to Lions Gate, which operates out of Santa Monica, for wide release and others for more limited distribution, the companies said. Hollywood-based After Dark plans to release a collection of horror films to 500 U.S. theaters in November.
