Cartoon Backfires

I was shocked to see a new cartoon strip in your Sunday comics section, “Spy vs. Spy” (April 14). The timing could not have been worse for trying to make the use of explosives funny. I am appalled at the insensitivity, in light of current events, in the Middle East in particular.
