Museum Retrospective on Gordon Parks’ Photos
The California African-American Museum in Exposition Park will present “Half Past Autumn: The Art of Gordon Parks,” the first complete retrospective exhibition of the photographer’s work, from Oct. 14 to Dec. 30.
The show of more than 200 images will include many works published in Life magazine. Opening day festivities, Oct. 14, will include a 1 p.m. screening of the artist’s autobiographical film, “Moments Without Names,” followed by a panel discussion. Admission is free. Information: (213) 744-2060.
