Mary Ann DeVine; Sculptor of Classical Goddesses

Mary Ann DeVine, 61, sculptor who specialized in small-scale classical goddesses in stone or bronze. Her most recent work was a cycle of life-size panels of Old Testament patriarchs for Hillside Memorial Park in Inglewood. The panels, visible from the San Diego Freeway, illustrate her extraordinary knowledge of the history of art and religion.
