Michelangelo Sign

I volunteer to donate my “Dress David” refrigerator magnet set to those good burghers of Capitola, who are offended by [a restaurant sign featuring Michelangelo’s nude statue] David’s shameless display (June 21).

Suitably blown up to size, these tasteful items of apparel would not only meet modesty’s demands, but would also give their users the chance for community participation so lacking in contemporary life.
