Nation IN BRIEF : MONTANA : Militants’ Standoff Enters 3rd Week

An armed standoff between FBI agents and anti-government militants entered its third week. “I don’t know where we’re at on this 15th day,” Garfield County attorney Nick Murnion said before meeting with FBI agents to reassess strategy. The standoff began March 25 when the FBI arrested “freemen” leaders Leroy Schweitzer and Daniel Petersen at the ranch they call “Justus Township.”
