“Mortal Kombat,” following in the esteemed footsteps of “The Super Mario Brothers,” shows us yet again Hollywood’s willingness to release a truly mediocre movie just because it is loosely based on a piece of software that has sold many, many copies.
How long, then, will it be until we’re subjected to “Windows 95: The Movie”?
