LACMA Sets Chamber Music Series
Five series of evening chamber music performances were announced for 1993-94 by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Twenty-five events will be presented on the Monday Evening Concerts, Bing Concerts, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, California EAR Unit and Pro Musicis Recital series.
Soprano Susan Narucki and pianist Alan Feinberg open the concert year, Oct. 6; it ends, May 11, when the EAR Unit gives its third series event of the season.
In between, pianists Robert Taub (Nov. 17) and Leo Smit (Feb. 16), soprano Karol Bennett (April 27), harpist Mariko Anraku (Feb. 9), and ensembles like the Repercussion Unit (Oct. 18), San Francisco Contemporary Music Players (Nov. 1), New York New Music Ensemble (Nov. 15), Music From Marlboro (April 20) and the Shanghai String Quartet (Jan. 26), will appear.
All events begin at 8 p.m. in the Leo S. Bing Theater.
