Arts Funding Debate Set for Wednesday
A debate over government funding of the arts will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Airport Sheraton, 6101 W. Century Blvd.
Opposing all government funding of the arts will by John O’Leary, a policy analyst for the Reason Foundation.
Supporting government arts funding will be Laura Zucker, executive director of the L.A. County Music and Performing Arts Commission, and Roberto Bedoya, president of the National Assn. of Artists’ Organizations.
American Civil Liberties Union Public Affairs Director Allan Parachini will moderate.
