Arts Panel Names Student as Adviser
BREA — A Brea-Olinda High School student has been selected as youth adviser for the city’s Cultural Arts Commission.
Sachi White, who will be a senior in the fall, will bring to the five-member commission ideas on arts and cultural matters affecting the city’s youth, officials said. She will serve for a year.
White, a fine arts commissioner at Brea-Olinda, was selected by members of the commission, cultural arts manager Emily Keller said.
The commission consists of Chairwoman Jeanne Learner, Vice Chairwoman Teresa Hampson, Delaina Hofecre, Joe Falco and Mary Engwell.
