The first film to roll out of director James Cameron’s 12-picture, five-year Lightstorm Entertainment distribution agreement with 20th Century Fox and other foreign distributors will star box-office heavyweight Arnold Schwarzenegger in an “action-comedy” tentatively titled “True Lies.” Scharzenegger plays an anti-nuclear terrorist agent “who is suddenly faced with some unexpected family problems.” Production begins in July for a summer 1994 release. Although Cameron and Schwarzenegger are known for making some of the costliest films in Hollywood, Lightstorm President Larry Kasanoff promised “True Lies” will be “just a normal budgeted action-adventure-comedy movie.”
