Michael Davies, Baltimore Sun Publisher, Quits
Michael J. Davies has resigned as publisher of the Baltimore Sun for personal reasons, the paper’s Los Angeles-based parent, Times Mirror Co., announced Wednesday.
Davies, 48, will remain at the Sun until March 15 before moving to New York, where his wife, Cynthia McFadden, is an anchor for Court TV, said officials at Times Mirror.
Until a successor is named, the Sun’s senior vice presidents will report to Richard T. Schlosberg III, vice president for Times Mirror group newspapers.
A successor to Davies was not immediately named.
