New World Expands TV Program Activities: Los Angeles-based New World Entertainment said it had formed two new divisions, New World Family Filmworks and New World Action Animation, to supply what it termed “the growing family entertainment market.” New World will continue to operate its Marvel Production subsidiary. Rick Ungar, president of New World’s Family Filmworks and Action Animation, said the two new companies would produce $20 million in new programming for 1993, including the syndicated series “War of the Worlds” and “Biker Mice.”
