Recent local media reports on the 49th Congressional district election claim San Diego will send a woman to Congress. Political pundits have stated that there are only two candidates, and that they are both women.
This is not true. There is an alternative to the older parties’ candidates: Libertarian John Wallner is also in the race. Wallner is leading a hard-hitting, well-run campaign. He is running radio and TV commercials, maintains an active speaking schedule and manages an aggressive door-to-door campaign.
