Talking About ‘USA’: “Damned in the USA,” the controversial documentary about censorship that came under fire by the Rev. Donald Wildmon, will be a featured topic tonight during a public forum on free speech issues at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills at 7 p.m. The documentary’s producer, Jonathan Stack, will be a member of the panel that will discuss the boundaries of freedom of expression. Excerpts from the film will be shown during the event sponsored by the Freedom of Expression network, a group concerned about access to art.
