Dear Mr. O’Malley,
As of Aug. 16, 1992, your attendance is down by about 400,000 compared to last year. At an average seat price of $10 and food price of $5, your revenues have decreased by $6 million. Darryl Strawberry and Eric Davis are taking home about $8 million for the year. How about a “tax the rich” strategy to balance the budget? Certainly these two can’t argue that productivity will decrease.
