* Lance H. Robbins, vice president of production and development, has been promoted to senior vice president of production and development of Saban Entertainment in Burbank.

In the newly created position, Robbins will oversee all development and production for Saban’s prime-time series and films targeted for the network television, home video, cable and the first-run syndication television marketplaces.

The independent entertainment company also named Nan Halperin to the new post of vice president of ancillary sales. Halperin joins Saban from a three-year tenure at Hanna-Barbera Home Video, where she was vice president of sales and marketing for the division.
