Assault on Community
Creative Options Day presented last month by Cal Lutheran University’s Women’s Resource Center and the American Assn. of University Women, Thousand Oaks branch, was once again, to a large degree, an assault on our community.
No doubt many of the workshops have educational merit, but I have a real problem with what is also an obviously blatant attempt to promote the radical, liberal, feminist agenda. Can we conclude anything else when Creative Options ‘90, ’91 and ’92 have featured workshops promoting the acceptance of lesbianism, reproductive rights (i.e., abortion on demand for any reason up to the day of the birth) and New Age feminist spirituality such as eco-feminism--at a supposedly Christian university, no less?
