Carolco Reaches Settlement: Carolco Pictures Inc. reached an out-of-court settlement in a shareholder suit. The suit charged that Carolco Chairman Mario Kassar enriched himself at company expense by selling 3.4 million shares back to Carolco for $13 a share at a time when the stock traded at about $8 a share. Carolco said it will sell an equivalent amount of stock at or above the price paid to Kassar. It also said it will restrict transactions between Kassar and the company for the next five years.
