Layoff of Liquor Board Agents
This is one citizen who is not dismayed at all about the state ABC having to drastically curtail activities due to severe budget cuts that will cause layoffs and office closures.
For years the ABC has wasted taxpayer money “protecting” us from topless waitresses, high-decibel music and other non-offenses, which should be irrelevant to a liquor license.
Perhaps now, with reduced staff and money, it will finally be forced to concentrate its limited capacity on the truly important and necessary matters of alcohol regulation.
