Conductor John Koshak and the Orange County...
Conductor John Koshak and the Orange County Youth Symphony will play at Carnegie Hall in New York on July 7, as part of a Youth Orchestra Debut Series sponsored in part by the Manhattan Symphony.
The OC Youth Symphony will be one of four youth groups participating in the first-time event, organized as an educational opportunity to highlight the appearance of distinguished youth and other ensembles, according to a spokeswoman for the organization. Koshak will conduct music by Beethoven, Dvorak, Ives and Leonard Bernstein. The orchestra, based at Chapman College in Orange, will be the only group from California on the concert.
