The Diarios y Noticias news agency said Argentine sports photographer Nestor Pereyra and cycle racer Atilio Marchand died in hospitals in La Plata, 37 miles south of Buenos Aires, after Pereyra was run over at the finish line of a race.
The agency said Pereyra was trying to photograph the winner.
A group of riders pedaling at 30 m.p.h. crashed into Pereyra, slamming him to to the ground, where he was run over by other cyclists.
