NIT : Stanford Makes This Final Four

Stanford led from start to finish in a 78-68 victory over Southern Illinois Thursday night at Carbondale, Ill., to advance to the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament.
The Cardinal (18-13), which shot 64%, will meet Massachusetts at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.
The Salukis (18-14) cut Stanford’s lead to 43-42 five minutes into second half, but the Cardinal built its lead to 13, with a dunk by Adam Keefe making it 66-53 with 5:26 left.
Massachusetts 82, Siena 80--Tony Barbee made a three-point basket with no time left in regulation to tie the score, and Jim McCoy made the only basket in overtime as the Minutemen (20-11) upset the Saints at Albany, N.Y.
Siena (25-10) appeared to have the game won when Steve Downey made two free throws for an 80-77 lead with 2.9 seconds left.
Colorado 81, Arkansas State 75--Stevie Wise scored 23 points, including five during a 17-2 second-half run, to lead the Buffaloes at Boulder.
Colorado (18-13) will play Oklahoma in the semifinals.
