Toon Special Scores: “Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue,” an anti-drug animated special simulcast on all three networks, Fox and hundreds of independent stations Saturday morning, got the highest rating ever for a Saturday morning program. The half-hour program was viewed by 30 million people, including 15 million children aged 2 to 11, according to NBC Research estimates. Forty percent of all children in the United States between 2 and 11 were watching the show, officials said. The program attracted a 22 rating and a 63 share.
