Coalition Benefit Set at Cafe Largo
The Coalition for Freedom of Expression will hold a benefit featuring music, performance art, comedy and poetry at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at Cafe Largo, 432 N. Fairfax Ave.
Featured performers include performance artists Tim Miller, Josie Roth, Alan Pulner, Luis Alfaro, Betty Nash and John Goss; actor and recording artist Bill Mumy (of Barnes and Barnes) and his band; comedians Taylor Negron, Leif Skyving and Lotus Weinstock; drummer/comedienne Robin Ryan; singer Philip Littell; and writers/readers/poets Mike M. Mollett, S.A. Griffin, Mitchell Sisskind and Scott Wanberg.
The Los Angeles-based coalition is an activist group of artists, writers and others formed to support the First Amendment and to lobby for continued National Endowment of the Arts funding.
