SAN DIEGO ENTERTAINMENT BRIEFS
Three’s Company has announced program selections for the troupe’s New York debut May 5-6. The five pieces slated for a pair of concerts at the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio include “Tabula Rasa,” “New Age Ceremonial Stomp V” and “Untitled Duet”--all by artistic director Jean Isaacs--”Osirian Fields,” Nancy McCaleb’s multimedia piece, and “Gurney,” a twosome by Isaacs and McCaleb. Trombonist Miles Anderson and violinist Erica Sharp, composers of several original scores for the company, will accompany the 10-member ensemble on its maiden appearance in the Big Apple.
