COMING ATTRACTIONS
The TV networks, including PBS and CNN, will preempt regular daytime programming Friday for live coverage of the presidential inauguration, and most also have scheduled late-night specials recapping the day’s events and the inaugural balls. The special coverage will be seen on the West Coast starting at 7 a.m., with the swearing-in ceremony taking place about 9 a.m. (noon in Washington). Most of the network newscasts are originating from Washington this week, and the early morning shows move there starting Thursday. ABC’s “20/20” on Friday night will come from Washington and will include an interview with George and Barbara Bush by Barbara Walters.
