Columbia Pictures Entertainment Inc. reported third-quarter net income of $9.4 million. Revenue totaled $387 million. The New York movie, television and theatrical production firm noted that these are the first such period results since the company was formed by the combination of Tri-Star Pictures Inc. and the entertainment business sector of Coca-Cola Co. on Dec. 17, 1987.
