A second girl died of wounds suffered in a gunman’s rampage at an elementary school in Greenwood, S.C., and her classmates returned to school to find police guarding the grounds and teachers ready to help them through the tragedy. Tequila Thomas, 8, a third-grader at Oakland Elementary School, never regained consciousness after the shooting three days earlier, Self Memorial Hospital spokesman Dan Branyon said. In a newspaper interview published Thursday, James William Wilson, 19, said he was patterning his actions in part on a Chicago-area woman’s rampage in May.
