‘Missile’
U.S.A., 1987, 120 minutes , 5:30 p.m . The training of men and women to command, and possibly launch, Minuteman missiles serves as the focus for the latest effort by veteran documentarian Frederick Wiseman. It’s the real “WarGames” presented with a human face. The matter-of-fact presentation allows us to cast the final verdict: Are we secure or in jeopardy? Truly unnerving.
RECOMMENDED.
