Nudeniks
An April 3 blurb in Outtakes by Leonard Klady promised that Marcello Mastroianni’s new film for John Boorman will contain the actor’s “first” movie nude scene.
Well, his first one since his last one, anyway. Mastroianni’s previous collaboration with Boorman, “Leo the Last,” contained a lengthy and well-publicized nude scene. Prior to that, his nude love scene in “La Grande Bouffe” was advertised as his first.
This may have been true, since the one before that , in “Kiss the Other Sheik,” revealed a body so lithe and muscular that one suspected the use of “stunt buns.”
