Orion Pictures Corp. announced a turnaround, with net income for the third quarter ended Nov. 30 of $1.14 million contrasted with a net loss of $3.6 million for the year-earlier period. Revenue rose 34% to $87.57 million. The New York-based film maker said the results were due, in part, to the success of the movies “RoboCop,” “No Way Out,” “Best Seller” and “No Man’s Land;” the home video release of “Malone” and “It’s Not Easy Being Me,” and a syndication agreement for use of 103 episodes of “Cagney and Lacey” on the Lifetime cable network.
