SAN DIEGO ARTS : Arts Beat
- The City Council’s Public Services and Safety Committee will discuss the creation of a powerful new municipal arts commission at 9 a.m. today at City Hall.
At stake is how more than $4.1 million of city money will be alloted to arts and cultural activities.
“This is the meeting where people who have concerns should bring them up,” said Joyce Selber, the city’s public arts administrator.
