Next time the Big Three network news anchors go out to lunch, ABC News’ Peter Jennings won’t have to worry when it’s his turn to pick up the check. Rumors abound that Jennings may double his salary--to $1.8 million annually--after current negotiations end. Jennings reportedly also wants his senior editor title upped to managing editor to match CBS’ Dan Rather and NBC’s Tom Brokaw.
