As Bruce the shark made its latest “Jaws” comeback at the AMC Deptford 8 Theaters in Deptford Township, N.J., this weekend, the plight of a smaller cousin--an 18-inch nurse shark who had been squished into a 12-inch tank in the theater lobby--drew complaints from the local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Theater manager Stan Wichowiski said he didn’t receive many complaints: “Just three phone calls and the SPCA.”
