Don and Peggy Antrobus, two former neighbors of Liberace, have started a fund-raising drive to buy the late entertainer’s Las Vegas home and turn it into a museum. The Antrobuses estimate that they need $5 million to buy the home and its furnishings, and have started a trust fund and hung banners on the street asking for donations. The couple live down the street from the home, which is on the market for $2.7 million. The house has 10,400 square feet of living space and includes a second-floor atrium and observatory. Liberace died of complications from AIDS in February.
