Director John Huston, hospitalized for five days for emphysema, was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Huston’s publicist, Irene Hamen, said he will recuperate at home. Huston, 79, won Oscars for writing and directing “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.” He also directed “The African Queen,” and “Prizzi’s Honor.”
