YOUNG AND RESTLESS
Marc Rocco, son of character actor Alex, knew early on that contacts are important in Hollywood. So when he was a 15-year-old production assistant on “The Stunt Man,” he hung around director Richard Rush, picking up tips, and got chummy with co-star Steven Railsback.
The chutzpah paid off: Shortly Rocco, now 23, will direct his first feature, “Scenes From the Goldmine,” for Air Age Productions. Rush is a production exec and Railsback stars in the action pic that chronicles a rock band’s rise to the top and the sharks they encounter along the way.
