170 JOIN SUPPORT GROUP FOR DANCE AT ARTS CENTER
The newly formed Center Dance Alliance, a support affiliate of the Orange County Performing Arts Center, has signed 170 persons to date in the group’s first membership drive.
The alliance was formed last year to promote and raise monies for the presentation of major dance groups at the Center, which is set to open this fall.
Last month the Center and the American Ballet Theatre announced that the ABT will perform “The Nutcracker” for a one-week engagement this December in the Center’s 3,000-seat multipurpose theater in Costa Mesa.
