The Atlanta Braves signed Terry Forster to a one-year contract that includes weight clauses. Forster, who weighs 230 pounds, will have to lose 10 of them before reporting to spring training Feb. 20. He will then have to meet the conditions of his weight clauses at various points during the season.
Forster was 2-3 with one save and a 2.28 earned-run average last season.
