BACON SIZZLING AGAIN
Ex-Herald Examiner columnist Jim Bacon, who has turned his cozy relationships with a passel of celebrities into a career, will be at it again on the radio when “Jim Bacon in Hollywood” begins airing shortly.
The talk/call-in show will be syndicated nationwide via satellite five hours nightly Monday through Friday (with the week’s “best” blurbs on Sundays), according to exec producer Kenny Green. Green, who’s calling his new enterprise the All-Star Radio Network, said affiliates are being lined up.
Bacon wasn’t ready to talk to Outtakes about the venture, but a Bacon friend told us: “Jim figures he’ll be able to interview Sinatra and Bob Hope and Elizabeth Taylor and all his friends who have been his friends for so many years.”
