CBS’ Hottelet to Join U.S. Mission to U.N.

NEW YORK — Richard C. Hottelet, a newsman for nearly 50 years and a U.N. correspondent for CBS News since 1960, is resigning to join the U.S. Mission as its public affairs counselor, CBS said today.
Hottelet, 68, starts at his new post Sunday, the network said. Hottelet has reported for CBS News since January, 1944.
