Jac Holzman, chairman of Panavision Inc., has resigned after heading the Warner Communications subsidiary for 2 1/2 years. Warner last month agreed to sell the Tarzana-based company for $52.5 million to a consortium formed by Interscope Inc. and Boston Ventures Limited Partnership.
Holzman, who founded Elektra Records and has served as Warner’s chief technologist for nearly 15 years, will continue as a consultant to Warner.
