Celebs and more at Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show [Updated]

The Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show, the biggest travel show in the West, rolls into the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend, with more than 500 exhibitors and plenty to see and do.
The show, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, will feature a roster of celebrities, including Samantha Brown of the Travel Channel, Rick Steves of “Europe Through the Back Door,” budget-travel guru Arthur Frommer, actor-author Andrew McCarthy and travel blogger “Johnny Jet” (John E. DiScala).
[Updated at 10:21 a.m.: A previous version of this post stated that Huell Howser of “California’s Gold” would appear at the show. He has had to cancel his appearance.]
Times travel staffers and photographers will offer tips on saving money, taking better vacation pictures and more.
Tickets cost $12 each, but you can get a $3 discount if you buy them online.
