A worthy assist for Louisiana

Thanks for the story on southern Louisiana [“Louisiana’s Lure,” June 10], which was forwarded to me by one of the FEMA liaisons I worked with in Plaquemines Parish after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The pictures were very nice as well. The positive stories help the folks so much, both by bringing tourists and their money down and also by helping the residents believe it will get better.
